The Monteverde Reserve runs its own night walk

If you want to walk the famous reserve trails at night, this is the option, and you should expect the same timed-entry discipline the reserve applies by day. The preserve caps visitor numbers per slot based on scientific carrying-capacity studies, a policy in place since the 1994 carrying capacity study, so slots are finite.
